What Divisions We Offer At GMRPC!
Control Management (CCC) are there to dispatch emergency services to calls around Greater Manchester. We could not run without them, and they provide a professional service to the public.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are on the frontline of policing. They provide a professional response to calls, alongside colleagues from other divisions and services, to assist the public in whatever way they can.
The Serious Crime Division (SCD) provide a proactive and reactive response to major violent crime, organised crime and to investigate afterwards. They are mostly undercover, working covertly to stop crime and to find criminals.
The Roads Policing Unit (RPU) is responsible for keeping the roads in and around Greater Manchester safe. They have access to a high-performance fleet and specialised training to enable them to end pursuits, respond quickly, and stay safe.
The Tactical Firearms Unit (TFU) provides an armed response capacity to Greater Manchester. They provide a fast and professional response to high threat situations around the city.
Emergency Operations (EO) includes the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) and Civilian Operations. All have a key part in patrols and provide emergency medical care, firefighting capability or providing calls for officers and the like to respond to.
